DIY POLITICAL ENGAGEMENT: THE ARK OF MANY VOICES
Research and installation

The Ark of Many Voices is a sound system held on shoulders.

<< Politicians are not taking care of people’s problems, so the citizens must pick up the burden of politics upon themselves >>.

‘When Occupy London took over the public space outside of St. Paul’s Cathedral, Marco Monterzino gave himself
a month of participant observation at the camp – he borrowed the design languages of the artifacts made at the Tent City to create an iconic object, one that
reflects the narratives of the protest camp.’
